Mitzvah Day Mitzvah Day asks people for their time, not their money. Once a year
Mitzvah Day partners with synagogues, schools, youth movements,
communities and Jewish societies to galvanise the community into cross
communal, national, inter-generational and inter – faith social action.
Mitzvah Day was founded in 2005 in the UK with founding partner, the
JCC for London based on Big Sunday in Los Angeles and is now an
independent charity. | |

Moishe HouseMoishe House was founded in 2006 and has quickly grown from four friends
building a Jewish community for young adults in their 20’s out of their home in
Oakland, California to thriving centers of Jewish life in 37 cities spanning 14
countries. In 2011, Moishe Houses hosted more than 2,600 programs for more than
50,000 total participants. |
